The best description of this sauce is ‘chilli con carne in a jar’ (even though it’s completely meat free). Smoky, dusky, earthy, with hints of raisin, chocolate, vanilla and tobacco that make this medium sauce a versatile product. Add to stews, use as a marinade, spoon over some grilled steak and then put in a wrap, or simply warm up to dip chunky chips in. Ideal on grills or even with beans on toast!
