Postage & Packing

For orders to mainland UK with a minimum value of £40 postage and packaging is free. For orders under this value it is charged at £5.99.

For orders to the highlands with a minimum value of £40 postage and packing is £14. For orders under this value it is charged at £16.

For orders to the Channel Islands with a minimum value of £40 postage and packing is £42. For orders under this value it is charged at £44.

All postage and packing charges are inclusive of VAT. For a detailed breakdown of which addresses fall into which please contact us for details.

We do not deliver outside of the UK and Ireland.

Delivery
All Internet orders are sent by courier. We aim to deliver your order within the following timescales following receipt of your order:

These timescales are not guaranteed and if for any reason, we were unable to respect these timescales, we will contact and inform you of the situation. We will also contact you if we are unable to deliver your chosen product(s) within this time.

On receipt of delivery, we advise you to check all goods. If, however, you are unable to check the goods upon arrival, we recommend you write “unchecked” next to your signature on acknowledgement of goods.

Returns & Cancellation

We hope that you will enjoy The Bay Tree products you order and look forward to hearing about any recipes or ideas that you would like to share with us. We endeavor to ensure that your order is packed and handled carefully, however, if you do receive damaged or broken goods, please contact us within 2 working days from the date of your delivery to arrange a replacement or refund for the products concerned.

You are entitled to cancel your order with us no later than 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods. We recommend you inform us in writing via email or letter (contact details at the start of these terms and conditions) that you are exercising this right, however, the choice of communication method is yours. If you have already received your goods you are obliged to return the goods to us at your own cost and within 10 days of giving notice of cancellation.

If you do decide to cancel, we will reimburse you for the full amount of the goods and delivery (if applicable) using your original payment method for your order. The cost of delivery reimbursed will be the standard delivery charge, any premium delivery costs incurred requested by you will not be covered.
