Cheese Straws

Made using Wyke Farms Extra Mature Cheddar


What to do:

Preheat your oven to 220'C or gas mark 7. Lightly flour your surface and roll out the puff pastry, scatter over 2 handfuls of Wyke Farms Extra Mature Cheddar then fold the pastry in half. Roll out the pastry to the same thickness as a £1 coin before cutting it into 1cm strips. Twist each strip a few times before laying them on a baking sheet. Scatter the twists with two more handfuls of Wyke Farms Extra Mature Cheddar before baking them for about 12 minutes or until the cheese straws are golden brown. Leave the cheese straws to cool before serving with The Bay Tree's sweet chilli jam!
