Our Favourite Sandwich Fillings

To celebrate #NationalSandwichMonth we asked the staff at The Bay Tree HQ what their favourite sandwich filling was. Here’s what they said:

Rachel Alison, Customer Sales Support: “I love a really simple yet classic cheddar and real ale chutney sandwich. It’s so quick to throw together and tastes amazing!”

Nathaniel Gordon, Food Service Manager: “My favourite sandwich has to be fish fingers with tangy tartare sauce. It’s perfect for the whole family to enjoy!”

David Coles, Sales & Accounts Co-ordinator: “Crayfish coated in savoury seafood sauce in a ciabatta roll is my ultimate sandwich filling!”

Hannah Innes, Marketing Assistant: “I definitely prefer warm sandwich fillings to cold ones so my ideal sandwich would have to be breaded chicken with lettuce, sweet chilli sauce and creamy classic mayo.”

Janet Phillips, Sales Support Manager: “Roasted vegetables with awesome aubergine pickle is a great sandwich filling! It also works really nicely in a toasty.”

Claire Parker, Financial Assistant: “It has to be bacon, brie and cracking cranberry sauce for me. I eat it all year round!”

Nigel Hodgson, Systems Director: “Camembert with sticky caramelised onions and crispy lettuce on sourdough bread is the best sandwich in my opinion!”

Reuben Horsley, Marketing Manager: “I really love sandwiches so this is a hard one! I’d have to go with pulled pork with smokey chipotle sauce and homemade slaw!”

Julia Moldram, Payroll & HR Manager: “I love our fig, rum & vanilla jam in a baguette. It’s simple yet delicious!”

Kayleigh Newton, Customer Service Administrator: ‘My favourite sandwich is definitely chicken and stuffing with creamy classic mayo.”

Pat Southgate, Financial Controller: “I really like an open sandwich on rye bread with gooseberry & coriander chutney, pastrami, halloumi, sauerkraut and salad.”

Jessica Hooper, Customer Sales Support: “I’m a big fan of our spicy tomato & caramelised onion chutney so I’d have to say that in a steak sandwich with melted cheese is my favourite!”
